I’m Aliya, and I’m an experienced educator, mentor, and leader. I have 20+ years of experience in public education and youth development in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work on some truly inspiring projects, including focusing on gender equality and girls’ education in North Africa, volunteering to help train university student leaders in Togo and secondary teachers in Sri Lanka, and serving in various leadership capacities in the United States, Africa, and Europe.

I love helping to make knowledge more accessible for everyone, especially those in marginalized communities. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is what I strive to practice every day. I believe in working together to create a world that is greater tomorrow than it was yesterday, and I am constantly inspired by the beauty I see in everyday people, places, and things.
